I was working for the seller. During the negotiations I tried to tell the Buyer's Agent that because of the kind of loan the buyer was using that the amount they were asking for was too much. I was told he had it under control. At the closing table the buyer figured out he wasn't getting the amount he wanted credited because it wasn't allowed by the mortgage type.
My seller had already been briefed on this and I already had him prepared for this. Preparation matters.
As I await the Chronicles, I have to ask what did the buyer do that left over 3k on the table?
